To NJ To See Diablo!

I'm on my way this afternoon to visit my soon to be bestest pal in NJ.... Diablo! Here's me getting ready. I had to put on a special rain suite in case my "Low Cost Monkey Transit" box gets wet.

Here I am all boxed and ready to go! Mom thought it was a good idea to ship me in a Quadratec box cause it somehow seemed fitting. We also did a little advertising for MoJeepin too.

My Trip To Arizona

We left on March 12 on our way to Kingman, AZ. Got through airport security just fine, except Auntie O was not prepared for this trip she forgot to put her small items in a plastic bag. OOPPPS so she was stopped by security to tell her to put them in a bag. I got through security just fine, if a cute sock monkey gal had been around I'd not minded a special search but there were only humans so I let it be.

We boarded the plane @ 7:50PM on our way to Las Vegas, the airline put us in the 3 seater just so I could have my own seat in the middle. I wanted the window but was told NO. Humph!

Then we were on our way, I was scared at first on the take off, but I soon relaxed and was good to go. Uncle Jon let let me watch "Resue Me" on his DVD player. I'm proud that my Uncle Jon is a fireman, considering what I'm made of it's good to have him close by.

I loved the weather in Kingman, it was 89* the first day, so we decided to take a dog to the Doggie Park for some running and playing. I got really scared cause there were some really BIG dogs, so I climbed up on the pole and watched all of them from there.

The next day we decided to go geocaching with Bambi (Jon and Olena's daughter) we went to (Spreading the Love #4 cache) me and Bambi was checking the coordinates before we started. We looked and looked, Finally Uncle Jon found it and then Bambi found it, and I had found it long before them but let them look anyhow.

After that we went back to the hotel to shower and get ready to go
out for dinner, I saw a yellow in front of the Hotel we stayed at (Haunted Hotel) that looked like my parents Jeep, I got all excited but Unlimited Rubicon.

The next morning Bambi came over to say her goodbyes to Nana's and Mom and Dad, we were all just a bit hung over from the previous night of partying at the "Nashville Grill". I jumped into Bambi's arms to say goodbye to her. I really liked Miss Bambi since she was a Preschool Teacher. Here she's telling me she likes monkeys more than kids, that made me giggle.

We stopped off at the Hoover Dam, I really liked all the water, places to could climb, and lots of towers and rocks for to play on. I did stay close to auntie Oleana as I didn't want to fall in though.

We dropped the car off at the rental counter and we got our bags all checked in and was proceeding to the next security check point. We were running behind because we got caught up in the noon traffic in Vegas, and were worried if we would make our flight. There were 100's of people in front of us for the check point ... then we were directed by security to go to a "different" line. There we were checked through right away! Uncle Jon wondered why did we get to go through this line when everyone else was in the other lines? Then it hit him, he saw Nana's in Auntie O's arms and looked at the line that they directed us to go through and it was the "HANDICAPPED LINE". They must have thought Auntie O was " A special person" because she was holding a sock monkey tightly. I always knew my Auntie O was "SPECIAL" now i know it is true. Thank goodness for her being "Special" we got the next security point just in time.

Finally got through all the security to the slot machines to gamble a little, I thought maybe I could win the Moms some money to fix their Jeep up some more. I broke even on the slots with Uncle Jon. I included a pic of where I made a good play and got 3 Jacks! I'll try harder next time.

I was so tired from all the excitement in Vegas and Arizona that I slept all the way home back to Missouri, once there I got a nice spot on the couch.

The Meet Up & Lonestar

I have so much to tell you all about! I bet all the stuffing is going to fall out of my arms as I have lots to type. So 1st let me tell you about Saturday!

I had such a great time meeting my fellow gearheadz! It was cold out and those silly humans still hung out for over 2hrs and to top it off they ate icecream! Anyway we met some new people and got to visit with lots members.

Uncle Jon and Kam ran over and talked to someone in a new 4 door Jeep, I hope he joins and tells us more about how he likes it.

I mostly hung out on YellowTJ's hood and waved at the people driving by and honking. I have so many fans! I think the MoJeepin people thought they were honking at them but I know better :-)

Ok so next we were all hungry (yes even after icecream) so a small group of us went to Lone Star Steakhouse on Campbell here in Springfield. I have to say that was a great time! I have some pictures to show you!

Here I'm with my good buddy Kam he's a hoot! Yeah thats me taking a sip while he's not watching!

Well these great Jeep people decided to celebrate my Birthday! I felt so honored! I didn't expect such fanfare but wow Lone Star Steakhouse can really make a Monkey feel welcomed. (you'd be surprised how much I get overlooked while dining out!) Anyway just look!

This is all them singing to me! I felt a little silly but kept my cool.

Here I am with the giant Sundae they brought me! Wow is all I got to say! There was so much I shared it with the 8 humans that came a long to celebrate with me!Here I am with my moms Christy and Steph (yeah they really are that dorky LOL)

This is me having some of that big ol sundae!

And here are some of the great Lone Star steakhouse people. This is my new fav waiter Jonathan who was very cool, and kept all the humans happy with yummy food.

This is the best manager Doug. If I ever need a job I'm going to go see him, I bet he could hook a monkey up.

MoJeepin Meet Up

Tomorrow, I'll be arriving with my uncle Jon and aunt Olena at Andy's Frozen Custard for a meet up. I hope to see my MoJeepin pals there and get to take pics with all of you! I love the camera! Come back in a few days for great pics of me, and well some of you too!

1st post Hello!

Hi I'm Nanas. I just wanted to say hi to everyone and tell you some about myself. I know I'm a sock monkey so before you freak out and choose to tell me I already know.

As a small monkey my love of Jeeps was misunderstood but I've learned to deal with that. I stopped swinging from the trees long ago and took up Jeepn instead. I've landed here with my pals Steph and Christy and love it. They go wheeln a lot and I really like their MoJeepn friends. I think I'm going to visiting some of them that are out of town soon.

I'll tell you more about me soon... for now a pic!
