Monkey Plans

I get asked often enough how I came to be... well just like you I was made! Well maybe the process is a little different but I think we can agree that having a sock monkey in your life is good and I will now show you how it was done.

My mom Steph and Great Grandma Debbie took this instructions found here and used them as DNA blue prints.

Steph found my monkey pelts from Red Heal socks online and had them sent. The rest was easy enough to get at Wal-mart.

Steph told me the story of how I was born and it went something like this... It was a cold day in February when she decided she needed a sock monkey pal (why? Only her and Erin know truly why). She convinced GG Debbie to help her bring me to life as she had a great DNA mixer sometimes called a sewing machine. Anyway it took about 4hrs and her sister Shelly helping too to get me all put together! They all thought I needed a shirt and because GG Debbie is crazy cool with that sewing machine she whipped me up a yellow shirt. I hope she'll make me more for X-mas this year! (hint hint)

Anyway I hope this helps, be sure and let me know if you need me to ask them for some help putting your new monkey pal together!

I Went camping!

I have to say my camping trip while long ago was a lot of fun. I went to Roaring river with Steph, Christy, and Bill. I was very happy to see that Amy, Montana, and Benji were able to stop by for a visit. Sorry the pic here was real blurry but I think they'd been drinking! LOL

So let me tell you… we went to Roaring River which is a trout park. For those who don’t know much about it you can go there and fish for trout that has been raised there at the park. They let a certain number of fish go each day so everyone has a good chance of catching some. I like that idea! Lots of yummy fish to catch. They are harder to catch than you think though!

Here is Bill and Steph giving it a go...

When we got there we went to the campgrounds and got to setting things up. It’d rained some that day and things were wet but it got better as the night went along.

I just hung around while they set things up...

After we set up we got to go over to where the hatchery was. I just had to see all those fish! If you can believe this some of them were big enough to eat ME!

Steph thought it’d be fun to catch one but instead we settled for just feeding them trout kibble. LOL trout kibble!

Steph did decide to do something funny/stupid. She fell down! I wasn’t there as I was sleeping in back at the tent, but when she got back she had a pretty big ouch. She took off to take a shower and I headed to get the 1st aid. While Christy is a Nurse and all, I told her “I got this one! Your on vacation” I figured all my monkey doctor schooling would help out one day and it did. So I 1st

had to tell her it was all ok.

And then I had to clean it up

And here I am applying the bandage and taping. I think I did a fine job if you ask me!

Wow how exciting. I did some more stuff while there, and I'm going to get that posted real soon. I played poker so be sure and come back soon!

Me and Piggy!

Hey guys I'm back in action. Yes I'm riding my piggy! I love this pig, she's a little clanky to talk to it sounds like she's got pennys in her teeth but she's a good companion anyway. Now As far as the rest of the stuff you should just dismis that. Ok so you still want to know what that is... Um well we'll start with the most interesting... one is Mom's beard for Halloween yeah she's going as a bearded lady. ? I know humans are weird. Thats a Dallas Stars had over there, I've found that I like to watch hockey. However I'm going to leave the ice to others.... well maybe not. Deorderant which I find funny to watch humans put on, they all think they smell! Hahaha I think I smell just find and I never use it! Thats about all the interesting things one here.

I just wanted to drop in and say HI! I know I've been gone a long time. I really want to make sure all my fans can find me too. I've opened another site here at blogspot...

Pep Boys Springfield MO

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Ok so I got to go to PEPBOYS! Now you might not this this is that exciting but let me tell you... it was great. They have a lot of fun car stuff there, stuff for Jeeps even! They should totally get more Jeep hats though! While there I got to see my great buddy Todd, he likes to go by TJODD on the MoJeepin website.

Here we are checking out some great stuff on the computer. Yeah thats right we needed some pricing on new Jeep stuff. Not that Todd doesn't know almost all of it without using the computer, I think he was just showing it off to me for real!

Whats nice about PEPBOYS is that they have fun people who work there. Jon works there too! He's on the boards as Shamoo. Its a funny story about why he's called that, you should ask him about it. He's got a fun picture of a whale on his arm. Wonder if anyone will got a Nanas tattoo someday? Humm...

Nanas

Nanas will be back soon, a new site will be open shortly.

Don't forget me!

I'm still around! I moved though this summer to TX with my moms. It was a crazy time for me too. I had some monkey stuff to pack, you know the normal deck of cards, my back pack, a few drinks, and animal crackers! Ok so then after I got my stuff packed they wanted my help too. So I had to help them pack stuff. Which led to unpacking stuff. Not to worry I have pictures. I don't want to spoil it but I have pics where I drove the giant Penske truck! What fun that was. I had a great time just monkeying around the cab too.

A few things, when we started packing the pics from the summer got packed too! But we've found them and I'm going to get them uploaded real soon. So please come back and check them out. I have pics of our camping trip, the Meet and Greet, a trip to BassPro and so much more!

KTTS with Jon and Oleana Springfield, MO Part 2

Andy got goofy and made rabbit ears behide my head. So I had to get Andy back so I mooned him! I have found not wearing pants helps you get a good mooning off real quick! HaHa Julie laughed out loud and so did Auntie Olena and Miss Bambi. I love crackn' people up.

I had a blast at KTTS and Andy said to come back and see him and Julie again sometime. I can't wait to see him again, this time I'm going to run the show. GO ANDY and JULIE!

I'm on the Web!

Ok excuse time. My moms are moving and won't let me get on the computer. I have so much to tell but can't just yet. I think things are slowing down for them and I hope to get on real soon and post some pix. Here's a great website to see me and some of the Meet & Greet pix at:

http://1047thecave.com/skin/blurb.php?sectionId=194&contentId=610485

If you go there I'm sitting on a really old Jeep it was way cool. I was excited to get some get shots of me on almost everyone Jeep at the Heritage Meet 7 Greet. We had a great time. If you look at the pics above you can see there was a great turn out. We had hamburgers and hot dogs, and lots of Gatorade I had about 4 bottles of the grape and loved it! It was hot and you'd be surprised how much a sock monkey can sweat! I must say I was a bit soggy after 4 bottles though. LOL It was hot but I tell you that didn't stop all the great MoJeepin people from stopping by.

I also have some pics of me at Basspro with the Moos, and me camping and having to patch Steph up, and a whole bunch more pix. So be sure and come back real so cause I've got a lot to tell.

KTTS with Jon and Oleana Springfield, MO

May 24th I went to KTTS a very cool and popular radio station to help Jon and Oleana promote the up and coming MoJeepin Meet N Greet. I was so excited that I had to sit on Miss Bambi's lap. I really like her! She sure is cute isn't she!

We pulled in the parking and lot of KTTS just after 7am. I wasn't so happy about having to get up so early but radio people like early mornings. I was excited to be on the radio. Oleana took pics of me and Miss Bambi in front of the KTTS sign.

We got inside and I met Andy and Julie and they made me feel very welcome. All that equipment was a little worrisome at first however after a short while I was sure I could run it all.

We all sat there watching Andy and Julie do the morning show, it was a lot of fun to see Andy work his magic on the radio. Lots of people call in on the phone to ask questions and want to request a songs. Now that school is out all the kids call in to talk to Andy and Julie. If is quite fascinating to see what goes on behind the scenes at a radio station, I learned a lot. It is very busy there at KTTS with the weather going on and then songs being played and people calling in and then the news! Its wear my the stuffing right outta me each day to do all that!

I wanted to interview Julie and so I jumped into Uncle Jon's lap to get a good view of Miss Julie while talking to her. Let me tell you Andy and Julie are a ton of fun, their really nice and know how to treat a guest monkey.

We had to set real quite when Uncle Jon did the MoJeepin Promo so I got back into Miss Bambi's lap to listen to what he had to say about the Meet N Greet. We didn't get to meet Miss Joyce Harriman (Stan the Man foundation CEO), she was unable to be there she wasn't feeling well. I hope she gets to feeling better cause I hear she's a real nice lady. Jon did a real good job I hope lots of people come out to see us at Heritage Chrysler Jeep on June 9th.

I got a special surprise when Andy wanted to shake my hand. I might not ever wash my little monkey paw again. I mean Andy is a celebrity here in SW MO.

I got a few more silly pics so come back for at least two more. I can't seem to find them now, I forgot my backpack that Shelly, my mom's sister, made me so who knows where those pics went. I tell you stuffing for brains sometimes catches up with me.
